Randomizer
In a randomizer that uses a split between Major and Minor item locations, a Wave Beam shot to the left just as you enter the room will uncover the Reserve Tank location, so you can see whether it's worth climbing up to get it.
It's possible to collect these item locations using only Hi-Jump Boots, Morph Ball, and Power Bombs.
