This video details the ways to descend this room after Wrecked Ship, depending on the number of Cacatacs you want to farm, and whether or not you're doing Moonfall. Several of these methods use a morph/unmorph in order to reset Samus' fall speed, in order to avoid one of the initial platforms.
GT Classic
