As you enter the room and run off the ledge, you can aim down to compress your hitbox, allowing you to avoid getting hit by the spark on the way down.
If you reach the Super Missile fast enough, you have the option of jumping straight up into the spark and damage boosting off of it back to the door. In Any% PRKD it's unlikely to be worth it unless you're at full health, since the sparks do 30 damage to Samus with the Power Suit.
