When visiting Wrecked Ship without Speed Booster, you'll want to use the upper door to check the Reserve Tank location, using either Wave Beam or a Power Bomb to break the item's shell. This way you know whether you will need to return for that item later after you obtain Speed Booster (or to help determine if Speed Booster is even required for that seed).

The optimal strategy, the "Robot Flush", fires two shots downward to push the robots into the pits from the spiked area.

This video has a hitbox view showing the shots hit, and the Power Bomb destroying the blocks. If the Power Bomb is laid above the floor, it will not destroy all of them.

This video shows one of the shots hitting a shot block, which can be mistaken for the sound of it hitting the first robot.

When going for the Reserve Tank, after charging the shinespark, walljumping up the shaft can help conserve energy for the Gauntlet Spark.

Max% GT Code

This video shows the Robot Flush setup used with Space Jump and Plasma Beam.

This video shows how to cross the room using X-Mode. Refer to the main article for instructions on how to execute this trick.
