As indicated above, this category begins timing upon both map screens being cleared to begin the game at Samus's Gunship upon first landing on Zebes (the file/default location given after escaping Ceres), and this category ends timing the moment the last yapping maw has grabbed you.

For better understanding of when timing begins, the Japanese "Super Metroid Hack Wiki" has provided the following visual information.

In this category, Samus must get grabbed by every yapping maw. Specifically, there are:

 - 5 in the gauntlet
 - 2 in maridia (near plasma)
 - 3 in norfair (near croc)
 - 2 at the top of the red tower
 - 3 near xray
 - 2 below spazer
 - 17 total

Since the category is new, no route has been deeply tested. There currently are two candidate routes, one which gets the gravity suit and another which gets the grappling beam.

Proposed route with the gravity suit:

- gauntlet immediately after bombs
- phantoon and the gravity suit
- yapping maws at the top of the red tower
- yapping maws by xray
- yapping maws below spazer
- yapping maws in Maridia
- yapping maws in Norfair

Proposed route with the grappling beam:

- gauntlet immediately after bombs
- Crocomire and the grappling beam
- yapping maws in Norfair
- yapping maws in maridia
- yapping maws below spazer
- yapping maws by xray
- yapping maws at the top of the red tower
