This grouping strat is useful if you're low on Supers.

Here's one possible grouping strat.
This grouping strat is faster, but requires more health.
This strat groups the second and third Metroids without letting any of them grab you.
This "Missile Super Missile" strat is faster than the grouping strat above.
This strat uses missiles on each Metroid without grouping.

This strat is fairly easy to execute, and applicable to any category that has sufficient Supers to afford to kill each Metroid individually.
