If Left+Right is allowed, this category is significantly easier, with the main obstacle being the spark suit generation at Mt. Everest, as seen in the TAS.

Note by converting the resultant spark suit into a blue suit with a crystal spark, Left+Right is arguably not needed. However, to complete the category without the use of Left+Right would require extensive single-wall underwater walljumping without Hi-Jump Boots, specifically Fish Tank Climb without L+R walljumping. The WR run avoids any use of L+R, making it the hardest category ever completed by a human.

Prerequisites

To finish this run, you need to know how to:

• Mockball
• shinespark
• Infinite bomb jump
• Continuous walljump and/or horizontal bomb jump over the moat
• Enter Maridia via forgotten highway and tube gravity jump
• Fish Tank Climb
• Navigate Maridia without Gravity Suit, Hi-Jump Boots, or Ice Beam
• Underwater walljump (with or without L+R)
• Perform the Mt. Everest slopespark (a triple frame-perfect trick)
• Exit Maridia via East Cactus Alley Room or left side underwater walljump w/o Hi-Jump Boots
• Lava dive without Gravity Suit or Hi-Jump Boots
• Elevator Crystal Flash
• Draygon ammo underflow
